Welcome to My Blog!
Apostle Misty Holmes Dorsey
We often enter into relationships blind, ignorant, and unequally yoked, only to be deceived by one's inability to discern individual(s) and our failure to walk in the fullness of the Word of God. We have been tainted and desensitized by what we see and hear. Many things in this world are not of God but have come up against the Word of God. They have tried to present a more robust presence, strength, and awareness than the church. The purpose is to grab the majority willing to fight for their flesh. In the meanwhile, Christians are sitting back and missing it again. They are afraid to voice what God says because they are scared to stand up for their beliefs. I am not talking about being out of order but about flowing in the order of God. We have lost our spiritual sight in gratifying our natural desires. In the meantime, movements and lobbyists are opposing God's
will and have been heard all the way to the Supreme Court. Carnality has caused many to worship the man (beast) more than giving our worship God.
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Today I have come across a very dramatic, powerful, and explicit picture that depicts the enemy in every way. Whether we see the truth and choose not to deal with it is an option we all h
ave. My assignment is to present the truth so that God's people will be set free. Jesus came to set us free. We must understand that Satan is the father of lies and that there is no truth in him.
John 10:10 (KJV)
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
There are serious issues today that are not only in the world but are inside the Church (The Body of Christ). The church refuses to confront or address these issues. Many wonders if th
e pulpit is the correct forum for this raw topic. The only thing I am aware of is that truth will make us accessible. If the church is afraid, to tell the truth, how do we get delivered and set free for real? Jesus' ministry brought forth controversy, love, healing, and forgiveness simultaneously; however, those looking for prestige may want to avoid the deliverance ministry. When Jesus came to set the captives free, they were free indeed. If you are religious and not spiritual, you may miss your purpose in life. We, the church, are afraid and have punked out when addressing real-life issues. We have come to preach a social gospel rather than the true Gospel.
4 But He answered and said, "It is written: 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God."
18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
19 To preach
the acceptable year of the Lord.
We have lost our love and zeal for the things of God. We have caved into lawlessness, lust, sexual immorality, lying, etc. We are more concerned about what will happen to our money flow or church attendance. When will we start preaching the truth that will make you free?
What happened to the voice of John the Baptist crying out in the wilderness to repent and turn from your wicked ways? What happened? The pastors and leaders of the church have silenced them. True prophets cannot even open up their mouths and speak the truth. Understand that we have idolaters, fornicators, adulterers, and witches operating in the church where you fellowship each week. It goes unnoticed because it is not the culture of the church. Let's get personal. We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. That is why God sent his Son into this world to die so that those who believe in Jes
us Christ will have life and have it more abundantly.
Sexual sins are more rampant in the world and inside the church. They stem from the pulpit to the front door. The church leaders must account for what they have swept under the rug because they did not want to lose their church(s). Does the church not belong to God? Unconfessed sin is out of control while lives are being destroyed because no one is willing to control their flesh. Galatians 5 tells us what the works of the flesh will manifest and what the fruit of the Spirit will produce.
Are you aware that spirits are transferable? Transferring occurs not only through sex but through laying hands on you. People lay down with one thing and get up with many others. No one has taught them that you have opened yourself up to spirits that you permitted to through touch. Now, many are wondering what has happened to them and why things are wor
se than before.
Understand, I am not talking about generational curses or things that happened to you when you were abused. That is another topic. I am referring to carnal Christians lying down with Mr. Butter and getting up with Mr. Deception, Mr. Pride, Ms. Torment, Ms. Rejection, Mr. Murder, Ms. Wrath, Brother Idolatry, Sister Witchcraft, Brother and Sister Perversion, and so much more. Spirits are transferable, and all they need is contact. You must give them a gateway to enter. You gave the Spirit legal access by allowing someone to speak in your ear that has not been assigned to you, spilling all sorts of sexual perversion into you, and you let it.
Look in the mirror! Who you think you are yoking up with is another story. The truth is beyond the mask. Who is standing over you? You have gotten naked with the enemy and allowed him to release
his friends and their bodies into you. All they need is a house (your temple), and you have given him your temple. You have worked very hard to clean your home, but without being accountable and filling your house with the Word of God, Here they come. We must pray for the gift of discernment. What may seem right can most definitely be your worst nightmare. Wake up and take a good look in the mirror.
Matthew 12:44-45 (KJV)
44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also un
to this wicked generation.
It's time to see what has been spewed (vomited, emitted, released, and discharged) all over and into you. Look beyond what you see with your eyes and see into the Spirit.
5 For God doth know that in
the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
Seeing with your natural eyes will get you in trouble. We have to see beyond our natural eyes and see the hope of our calling in Christ Jesus. Jesus was able to see the joy that was set before Him.
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
When did you notice that you were covered up with fig leaves? Today I pray that your fig leaves fall off. I pray that you come to see your actual state and recognize that without the shedding of the blood, there is no remission of sins. Wake up and arise so that you may come into your birthrigh
t. Do not let your uncontrollable flesh keep you out of heaven. Believe it or not, the wages of sin are death, but God's gift is eternal life.
The next time you lie down with someone who is not your husband, I pray that you will get an image that will cau
